Discount Calculator - Find the Final Price After
How to use the discount calculator
Enter the original price (MRP) of the product. Then either type the discount percentage you see on the store, or choose "Sale price" if you only know the price being asked. Add any extra coupon or bank offer in percent, and the final price appears instantly. You can switch the currency between rupees, dollars, euros and pounds.
How the discount is calculated
Price after discount = original price − (original price × discount ÷ 100). An extra offer is applied on the price that is already reduced, so a 40% discount and an extra 10% offer do not add up to 50%.
Example
A product has an MRP of ₹2,999 and is listed at 40% off. After 40% off the price is ₹1,799.40. A further 10% coupon brings it to ₹1,619.46. You save ₹1,379.54, which is about 46% off the original price.
Is the discount real?
Switch to "Sale price" to see the real percentage between the MRP and the price you will pay. A large percentage can be misleading if the original price was set high, so it helps to compare with the price on other stores. You can see current offers on our deals page.
Questions
Do two discounts add up?
No. The second discount works on the already reduced price, so the total saving is a little less than the two percentages added together.
Does this tool store my numbers?
