How to make a resume online
Choose a template and colour, then fill in your details section by section. The preview updates as you type, and any field you leave empty is left out. Add as many jobs, education entries and projects as you need, check the preview, and press "Print / Save as PDF". In the print window, choose "Save as PDF" to keep the file on your phone or computer.
What a good resume includes
- Contact details: name, job title, email, phone and city.
- Summary: two or three lines about your experience and what you offer.
- Work experience: your latest job first, with short points about what you achieved.
- Education: degree, institution and years.
- Skills and certificates: the tools and abilities that match the job.
Tips for a stronger resume
- Write one point per line and start with an action word, such as "managed", "built" or "improved".
- Use numbers where you can, for example "handled 40 customer accounts".
- Keep it to one or two pages and match your skills to each job you apply for.
- The one-column templates are usually the simplest for job-portal software to read.
- Do not add Aadhaar, PAN, bank or other ID numbers. A photo is optional and is not common on resumes in some countries.
Your privacy
This tool works entirely in your browser. What you type and the photo you choose are not uploaded or stored by us. Because nothing is saved, refreshing or closing the page clears the form, so save your PDF first. If you use a shared computer, delete the file afterwards.
